  • Contact details (including email addresses, telephone numbers, postal address, profession, date of birth and records of communications and interactions we have had with you);
  • Certain other information, which you volunteer when making use of your membership benefits.

More generally, we will use your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Administration: to inform you about our events and language classes
  • Research and statistical analysis about who is studying in our school or interested in our courses
  • Communication about La Dante activities that we think maybe of interest to you
  • Storing your details on the software platform we use for our online management database, where this is necessary for our legitimate interests: to promote social and cultural events related to Italian, Spanish and English language and culture (for example, museum exhibitions, film screenings, theatre shows, language exchanges, free conversation classes, articles and topics related to our main interests)wherewe thinkthiswill be of interest to you The use of your personal information is based on our ‘legitimate interest’ in providing you with additional information and direct marketing about our services (under Article 6 sec. 1 sent. 1 lit. f, sec. 4 of the GDPR regulations).

Your marketing preferences

We will always respect your wishes in respect of what type of communication you want to receive from us and how you want to receive it. There is some communication, however, thatwe need to send you regardless ofyour marketing preferences in orderfor us to fulfill our obligations to you as a member.

How long your information is kept

We keep your personal data only for as long as necessary for each purpose we use it. This means that we retain your personal data for as long as you are actively interested in our courses and information (for accounting and recordkeepingpurposes, for our legitimate purposes of promoting our offers) until you decide to unsubscribe.

Your rights

  • Request access to your personal data (commonly known as a “data subject access request”). This enables you to receive a copyof the personal datawe holdaboutyou andto checkthatwe are lawfullyprocessingit. Request correction of the personal data that we hold about you.
